Hi everyone,

I’m Lael (pronounced Lay-ell) and I’m excited to be a new member of this site. It’s so great to have an outlet for all my LOST enthusiasm and have intelligent people to discuss it with. I’ve been a fan for a couple of years, after I rented Season One and got hooked. I’ve bought Seasons One, Two & Three on DVD and have watched them several times. It seems like every time I watch I see something else that intrigues me. I love making other people addicted to LOST. My recent converts are two co-workers, both of my brothers and my father. Daddy is a hard one to please when it comes to movies and TV. He’s one of those brilliant people who figures the whole plot out in the first few minutes, so it takes a lot to impress him. Needless to say, he’s as clueless as to the real plot in LOST as the rest of us! Finally, a program worthy!

My favorite character is Sawyer. Oddly, I’m not attracted to him physically, but I love the fact that he is this strange dichotomy of intelligent bookworm, bad boy, comedian and romantic, all rolled into one. I laugh out loud at his “Sawyer-isms”… When he called Hurley "Deepdish" it caught me so off guard that I squirted Diet Coke out my nose! Painful…

I’m also quite fond of Kate—she reminds me of the old Lady Jaye character from the G.I. Joe cartoons. (I suppose I just aged myself with that comment!) Here's a comparison...what do you think?

Things I'm obsessed with other than Lost: I just finished my MBA with a double major in Marketing, and then I started my own small business, so that takes up most of my time. I also do photography and graphic design, make handmade cards, and watch hockey and football. I’m a big fan of BSU football Go BRONCOS! FIESTA!

Another thing I've been up to "while we wait" is playing LOST: The Game. It's a fascinating and incredibly complex board game full of secrets, peril and interesting character plots. You won't believe what your favorite characters can do (just watch out for Ana-Lucia!) You can also log on to the Official Website and talk to other players in the Message Board.

Also, check out all the new books out about LOST. My favorite is Finding Lost: The Unofficial Guide by Nikki Stafford. Just when you think you know everything there is to know about LOST, this book will teach you more! I think it's a must-have for any LOST fan. This author also recently released Finding Lost - Season Three: The Unofficial Guide, which is just as good, if not better than the original. There are tons of other Lost guides out there and I have read most of them, and learned a lot. If you haven't picked up one yet, you can't be a true fan, so check one out today! :)
