Well here goes my predictions for the near future. But first you have to check out the back of Swayers boxers after he hands FLocke a drink in the beginning of "The Substitute". OK, do I have your attention? Slowly but surely our intrepid adventurers are going to pick sides. Certainly, this is a recurring theme and happened in the first season. Caves or beach ? Initially Kate and Sawyer because we are over due for some sexual tension, Claire and Sayid as they are infected and claimed and surprisingly Ilana and Richard align with Flocke. That leaves Ben, Sun and Frank joining Jack, Jin, Hurley Man and Miles hanging with Temple Others. By the way are there any Others besides the Temple Others on the Island? These initial groupings will evolve as the season continues coming to a head in the oft mentioned "war" which allows the sideways LA X scenario to be the resulting reality. What we are seeing in LA X Land is what we are going to get.
I am not an original thinker but I base this "prediction" on interacting with you folks on this site and reading whatever articles and websites I can dig up and the fact that the storyline always remains true to itself and doesn't get too far out there although it tries to get us to over think some some clues and put us on a false trail.
