why was Jack in the jungle? I still haven't gotten over that little tidbit. He's not an other, and we know he was on the Flight, so how did he get there?

it wasn't just jack who ended up in the jungle once the flight had crashed, but kate as well, when she came out the jungle and sewed jack up. is this significant? what was it about only them two?

They way the engine was still running after the crash. I loved the intensity. A subtle (can a jet engine be subtle?) addition, but the one that really made the scene for me.
