Synopsis: Jack tries to rescue someone drowning in the ocean, but fails to save her life. Even worse, Jack is being haunted by the vision of a man in a suit who follows him wherever he goes. Jack is emerging as the group's leader and helps the survivors establish a workable camp on the beach.

Flashback: The flashback proves that Jack has always been determined, even while being bullied as a young boy and put down by his demanding and cold father.

OMG Moment: Jack follows the man in the suit deep into the jungle and discovers the coffin of his dead father he was transporting back to the U.S. on the plane. But the coffin is empty!
