Synopsis: When Sayid finds out that Shannon knows some French, he enlists her help to try to translate some notes he stole from Rousseau's shelter, which turn out only to be transcripts from a French-dubbed children's cartoon. Rose, whom everyone thought had drowned in the ocean, continues to have faith that her husband is also still alive.

Flashback: We learn more about Kate's past and get more clues about what led to her life on the run.

OMG Moment: Kate manages to acquire some of the dead marshal's possessions, including a manila envelope with a toy plane.
