Synopsis: Michael proposes that the group build a raft to try to escape from the island, but no one thinks it's a plausible idea. Michael decides to build it anyway, and enlists the help of his son, Walt. Charlie finds Claire's diary and recognizes a description of a "black rock" from her dreams as an actual place on one of Rousseau's maps.

Flashback: The flashback reveals how Michael became a father and how he became estranged from an infant Walt.

OMG Moment:

• Claire manages to stumble out of the jungle just before a search party is to head out to find her.

• We get information from Walt's step-dad that Walt may have some special abilities.
