2.04 "Everybody Hates Hugo" - ABC.com - Official LOST wikiSynopsis: Everyone's freaking out about the hatch, especially Charlie, who hounds Locke for answers. Life is hard when you're stranded on a desert island tasked with rationing all the weird Dharma-packaged food that was stored in the hatch. Such is Hurley's burden, but with Rose's help he comes up with a solution to share the food in a large feast, which leads to one of the few happy and festive scenes on the show.

Flashback: The flashback focuses on Hurley as well, and his life as a multi-millionaire lottery winner. He chooses not to share that fact with anyone, however, and instead goes about his business before becoming a winner. But the numbers are haunting his life and there is no going back.

OMG moment: Sawyer, Jin, and Michael learn that their captors are not the Others, but rather survivors from the tail of the plane (hence their collective moniker, "Tailies"). The most worrying part of their story is that, while there were originally 23 survivors, only five are left, due to selective kidnappings by the Others. On a happy note, Rose's missing husband, Bernard, is among the living Tailies.

Questions and clues: Who would blame the survivors for freaking out about that hatch? It's just plain weird and raises more questions for an already puzzled group of people. There's a large magnetic force behind one of the hatch walls. And what is the significance of Hurley's vexing numbers?
