2.19 "S.O.S" - ABC.com - Official LOST wikiSynopsis: Rose is opposed to Bernard's project to build a giant S.O.S. signal on the beach. While Rose's faith in the island grows, Locke begins to question his beliefs about the island. Jack and Kate go to the line the Others told them not to cross. Jack screams but gets no response. That night Michael stumbles out of the jungle where Jack and Kate are.

Flashback: We follow Rose and Bernard through their meeting and blossoming love. When Bernard learns that his new love has a terminal illness, he takes her on a honeymoon to Australia where he hopes an expensive faith healer can offer a cure. When the healer meets Rose, however, his face registers fear, and he immediately tells her there is nothing he can do and quickly leaves the room.

OMG moment: Rose confesses that she does not want Bernard to build the S.O.S. signal because she believes the island cured her and she doesn’t want to be rescued.

Jack says "He's not sorry" that Kate kissed him.

Questions and clues: What did the faith healer sense or recognize in Rose? Does the island really cure illness? If so, what is wrong with Claire's baby, Aaron?

I just realized tonight that I have seen Rose and Bernard in an episode lately...I haven't even seen them on the island...where did they go??? Did they die and I just don't remember?
