Flashback: Jack

OMG Moments:

New Clues: Sources in Hawaii saw a set built to look like Thailand for a Jack flashback... could we find out why the doctor got those sexy tattoos?

The Surrealism of Stranger in a Strange Land: First..This was another episode that seemed very much like reading a Andre Breton novel. Last weeks episode was an exposition of Illusions. This episode was an exposition of METAPHOR. Look the word up if you are not sure what it means....It started in metaphor,," Moving" meaning being killed..,people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones..,,etc etc..the Whole Flashback was a version , an abstraction ,a metaphor, of the Melusine Myth..and with it peaking with " Who Am I" ( the openng line to Andre Breton's classic Surreal Novel " NADJA}, which includes discussion on the Melusine Myth, because the Myth meant so much to Breton and his Surrealism) ties LOST to Breton's " Nadja" and if one can see surreally..answers the Big Question of LOST....At the end ,as in Breton's style..Jack says,, yeaa, thats what they say..but thats not what they mean...METAPHOR..LOST...
The ending is sublime in its Surreal...Not one word said,,yet so much communicated....Jack and Julie....Carl and Alex,,and yes,,the otherside of the surreal coin..Kate and Sawyer....and btw...imho...Bai Ling stole the show.....Just know that..when being Surreal..one is indeed , an outsider amongst the others..a stranger in a strange land.
