How could Juliet know such a detail from Sawyer's past (i.e. that he killed an innocent man thinking he was the original 'Sawyer')? There were no witnesses that could have reported it so it could appear in a police record somewhere. Did the Others get that information from hypnotizing him when he was in the cage?

I don't think that people have a problem to give birth to a child. Remember that this might be a lie so as to give Juliet the chance to stay with the survivors and gain their trust.We still don't know why exactly the others sent Juliet to the survivors but we know that they "activated" the serum to cause Claire's illness, not "the island".

If Ethan was saving Claire by giving her those injections, then why did he promise to kill people (and ended up killing someone), and hang Charlie?

Who is lying, Ben or Danielle?
According to Danielle gave birth on the Island, after her team died and before Juliet arrived. Alex is living proof that Danielle's pregnancy went well. Danielle didn't die, but she did go loco. According to Ben, no one who gives birth on the Island survives. Claire only survived because Juliet had finally found a treatment that worked. Yet Alex remains his daughter, he who has always lived on the Island. What did he do, get a girl pregnant, send her away, then bring her back after Alex was born? Or did she miraculously survive the birth and die afterwards? We've been going on the assumption that Danielle's child was kidnapped and raised by Ben. But what if Danielle is lying, too? How about this? Danielle is crazy. Could it not be that she has fixated on Alex as "her" daughter? That Alex truly is Ben's daughter, but Danielle has either convinced herself or has been made to believe that Alex is hers. Or perhaps Danielle didn't land pregnant, but was actually kidnapped herself in order that the Others might use her to further their pre-Juliet fertility studies. When it was proved an outsider could survive pregnancy, they thought they may have found an answer, but Danielle went insane. Obviously this wouldn't work. Or they took the baby and brainwashed her into believing the kidnapping story, etc. and turned her out half-mad with grief. Sorry about the length. I got carried away. Thoughts? -L.A.

1. Was it merely an after-thought to have Goodwin be Juliet's lover? No indication of that was given in "Tale of Two Cities".
(and on that scene...seemed a bit gratitutious nudity of Elizabeth Mitchell, just to "spice things up") 2. Also, how did the news media already know that 815 was missing? (as noted on Mikhail's satellite feed watched by Ben & Juliet minutes after the crash) The pilot said they turned back from their course for LA and were heading back to Fiji. Travel time: less than 2 hours. Ergo, they crashed on The Island withing 2 hours of losing radio contact. Oceanic Airlines (nor any airlines) wouldn't report a missing flight to the Media in such a short time, and it especially would'nt already be on the air. |

Just wondering, if Claire is the only one on the island that gave birth, how is there Alex? Didn't Danielle give birth to Alex on the island??? Plus, the whole Jacob thing has got me wondering, is Jacob the main man. As in, is he hire up than Ben. I'm sure this is it, but then where and whom is Jacob

I think that Ben lied to Juliet when he told her that Rachel had cancer again.It was the only way to keep her to the island willingly to continue her "work".Ben always has got a way to solve problems!!!

Also, I had been assuming the "other" Jack brings with him is Juliet, but the preview at the end of Expose makes it look like she'll be with Kate - so who could it be? I can just picture Jack coming back to camp with some bad other and trying to reassert control, maybe this'll be the game changer episode... Actually, it's probably just Alex. PS. What's going on with Sayid? Who's got the spoilers?
