Naomi and Locke's Dad both said that Oceanic Flight 815 was found and all the bodies were found at the bottom of the Ocean. Unless they were both lying and are working for the others there's ony one explanation for it. If the list of passangers was changed somehow all the families would know their missing people. The other explanation is that the plane that was found wasn't Oceanic fight 815 and somehow the others had something to do with it so people wouldn't look for them. The only sure thing is that the people on the Island aren't dead and it isn't a one way Island because Richard and Ethan both met Juliet off the Island . Dead people dont just go walking about off the island.

I was under the impression that "the dead stay dead" on the Island. Therefore there are two possibilities:
1. Mikhail died, and this is a twin/clone. If a twin, he's been made up to look like Mikhail. It's doubtful that twins would both have the same bad/missing eye. I don't go for the clone theory, but it's possible, I guess. 2. He faked his death. How you fake that, I don't know, but he's the only one who's actually been caught in there, so we don't have any previous experiences to go by. His final words in Par Avion- "Thank you", put me in mind of Obi-Wan. The "kill-me-and-I-become-more-powerful" thing. I don't know how it fits in, but that's what it reminded me of. I'm going for possibility 2. -L.A.

Does the fact that Mikhail came back and said he already died once this week mean that those who dide on the island are still alive?? Might GIve Boone and Shannon another shot at coming back

The Others know so much about the Survivors because of the obvious media blitz surrounding the crash. The power and resources of their off-island backers has been shown so far to be near-limitless. It would be childs play to plant fake crash debris and bodies (remember the dead island mothers?), then coerce the media to report no survivors. With no one looking for them anymore, the others would have a rich source of test subjects to continue their experiments.

Juliette knows that Sun's D.O.C. is really pre-island. When her 'treatments' result in a successful (and 'premature') delivery, Ben will let her off the island, Sun will still be alive and everyone will believe Jin is the real father. Everyone wins - except Ben.
The only one that can screw this up now is Jack. If he figures out the real D.O.C., Juliette's plan is ruined. To what lengths is she willing to go to keep the secret?

Naomi said that Flight 815 was found with no survivors. In Gary Troup's book Bad Twin, it says the plane was never found. It says- " Gary Troup has been missing since September 2004, when the jetliner that was carrying him from Sydney to Los Angeles crashed somewhere over the South Pacific." The book was published in 2006. Why does Naomi say the plane was found, but the book says it hasn't? Anyway, my theory is that they never found the plane, but the media said it was found. I do not know who is covering it up. Why didn't the Others say that the plane crashed on the island?

When Jin's mother asked Sun for money, she said she wanted $100,000. In South Korea, they do not use any form of dollar as their currency. They use what is called the Won. The money Sun gave to Jin's mother looked like the Won. One US Dollar is about 930 Won.

Really cool that Mikhail returned, one of my favorite others!!!
On the contrary really stupid tha the others did send one of their most fragile members for further investigation to the survivors I BELIEVE THAT BEFORE THIS SEASON IS OVER THAT JULLIET IS GOIN TO TURN AWAY FROM THEM AND JOIN THE SURVIVORS..... I hope not because thus, the once powerfull others will make their first but critical nonetheless mistake.Which offcourse would seem to all us a little bit annoying

I don't know enough about oceans...
Could the wreckage on the island have washed away far enough into the ocean that people off the island could have found it? There were a bunch of dead people in the wreckage, so that's why everyone they found would have been dead. If it isn't their plane, then I'm sure the others had something to do with it. Ben was a security guard at the airport before flight 815 took off. This also makes me wonder how he got back to the island and into his house BEFORE the plane crashed.

Who could have covered this up. Could it be the island? Maybe the island is alive and wants to keep these people stranded!? Or what is Ben wished that people would get stranded as to study their women!? |

I realize that television (except when making a direct point on the issue) shies away from abortion, but...
Why would Juliet, with the obvious advanced ob-gyn equipment available and given either her or Jack's medical expertise, atleast SUGGEST to Sun to have the pregnancy terminated?

Mikhail is alive? He can't be in a flashback I mean that just doesn't make sense. Plus not a lot of caucasions live in Korea. So either he impregnated Sun (highly doubtful) or he's Desmond's unlikely nemesis. And when it says flashback: Sun, does it mean just Sun? What about Jin? Plus was Naomi (parachuter) was she sent by Penny. It's kind of obvious but you just never know. And also to do with the time Sun found out she was pregnant, she must have concieved on the island. Michael?

although i'm excited to know he will be back, it's a bit of a stretch. hopefully that will all be explained, though i sincerely doubt it. the writers and producers should take a page out of the 24 book and not credit roles when they want to have a shock factor. now, everyone already knows mikhail's back and then they can figure out that he's is probably the unlikely nemesis. the same thing happened with jack's dad being claire's father as well. it was pretty obvious before but then when you see the credit (if you're the kind of person who notices such things) it's ruined for you.

is to check on Sun, and bring her back. When Juliet re-joins Ben in 7 days, she will be bringing Sun with her. And sun's going to go b/c she thinks her baby might have a chance if she goes with Juliet- otherwise she won't have a chance at all. |

Okay, so go check out TheTailSection.com for the scoop, but the clues are in and here's the short version: Mikhail is not dead!!! I for one think Mikhail is the best addition to the cast since Desmond (I like Juliet too, but sadly I'm bored of her mind games already) so I am quite psyched. He is most likely the "unlikely nemesis" mentioned above.
However, this raises the following questions: was Mikhail merely incapacitated by the "sonic weapon fence" or did he straight fake the whole thing? Maybe the fence was off, like Juliet says later, and so they were able to climb over it thinking it was on. But if so why did it make that loud noise when Mikhail crossed it? And what about the blood spurting from his ears? I find it damn near impossible to believe that Mikhail would have to foresight to install some sort of mechanism to fake that. So maybe it was on and just incapacitated him - in which case how come the smoke monster couldn't just go over top of it like the losties did when it was chasing Juliet and Kate? Surely this will all be made sense of sometime, but when stuff like this gets solved do you think it comes off more as a clever and well concieved plot or more like some wild and desperate explanation the producers put together based on little technicalities like "the smokemonster can't jump" or "the fence has multiple settings, one you can go over and one you cant" and stuff like that. Anyway, let the debate begin! -C.
