Plot holes are of course rampant in "Lost"...but this episode brings up a few more.
1. Naomi' s ship, if as advanced as her sat-phone, would have had her helo on GPS/satellite tracking before it went down....therefore leading it DIRECTLY to The Island. 2. (An update on an old plot hole) Eventually Michael and Walt will be seen by people who know them....mom, cousins, friends, etc. When that happens, the cover-up of the crash (the sunken plane) would be cast into doubt. The only way I see around this is if Michael and Walt didn't go back to the USA, or any Western country where their identities would eventually be discovered and they remained in the South Pacific.

I believe dynamite was invented in 1866, by which time slavery was ended in most of the world (at least on the scale involving ships) making it unlikely that a slave ship would have dynamite on it. On the other hand, an American slave ship would not have likely been in the South Pacific, so the end of American slavery might not apply. Slavery was apparently known in New Zealand until the mid-1860s, though those slaves were not exported from the country.
Of course, Locke could easily be wrong about his interpretation of the Black Rock. Maybe it wasn't a slave ship, and there's some other explanation for the shackled mummies. It's also possible that they were slaves, but the ship was involved in some sort of illegal (at the time) activity involving captive workers. |

Did I miss something earlier, or is this the first time that it is revealed that Sawyer wrote the letter himself as a child? That was an OMG! moment for me. I have spent all of this time thinking that he received the letter from a child after he conned the parents. How ironic that he ends up a con man after what Locke's dad did to him as a child. was

Sawyer was arrested in Sydney for getting in a bar fight with some dude. No one except Sawyer himself knew that he killed that guy running the shrimp wagon. I don't see how the others could have possibly known this. Apparently they're "good", but c'mon they're not the CIA or something. I don't get how they could know something like this unless of course it's the whole purgatory/island all knowing thing.

maybe the island is a purgeratory island afterall?!
naomi said that they found the plane - everyone inside was dead, they found all of the bodies .. and I hate juliette with a passion, i hate her little smirk . Drives me absolutly insane . maybe what juliette is hiding is that she knows kates pregnant ... Locke is definantly one of the others, or at least he's tryng to be . and remeber how locke gave sawyer the tape recorder? he will soon find out kate is pregnant ... |

My guess is that Juliet knows what/where the Others are using to block communication with the outside world. Based on the description of the final episode this season, they might figure out a way around it. Any other theories?
I was so mad at Kate for telling Jack about Naomi. I'm wondering now if that was a good thing since Juliet can tell them about whatever is blocking communication. |

Through the previews to this episode you do see Sawyer screaming "Finish it!" We were told that the letter would make a reappearance in this season. I believe Sawyer makes Anthony Cooper read the letter that he wrote to the real "Sawyer." This would fit perfectly into the storyline.

In the preview on lost.abc.com it shows Locke saying he tied Ben up and wants Sawyer to kill him. It would be very probable if were the real Sawyer so I appreciate everyone with that theory. And like the theory says up there it would be logical for abc to be tricking us. Plus, in the same video clip that shows Locke coming back, it shows Sawyer putting his shirt back on with Kate and asking her if she wants to walk back with her? Did they, you know again? OH come on you know.

So, in the trailer Locke says to Sawyer, "I snuck into Ben's tent and kidnapped him. I want you to kill him." Is he talking about Cooper or could he mean Ben himself? I'm sorry, I want to see the whole Sawyer vs. Sawyer thing as much as anyone else, but oh how sweet it would be to see Ben finally get his comeuppance...

Doesnt it seem a bit odd that locke would come all the way to get sawyer? And would Locke really need 'help', as it says above, to do whatever he wants to his dad? Can't think who else it could be though. I'm sure all shall be revealed.

I have a prediction. It could possibly be a spoiler.
But if you are looking at this page and you have half a brain you should also be thinking what I am thinking................... I predict that Locke's dad is the original Sawyer that James "Sawyer" Ford got his name from. And sawyer screaming "Finish him!" in the previews- he's screaming that at Locke-to kill his dad. |

I'm really sorry, it looks like I "jumped the shark" on that one. I was getting my info from spoilerslost.blogspot.com (a really great website) and they reported the same error. Looks like it is a Locke flashback but the "no flashbacks" translates into "really recent flashback" as in nothing off the island. So, sorta same difference, but sorry again for complicating website info updating stuff. Thanks for listening though, and maintaining such a great Lost resource!
