In the guest star list, it says Nadia (The woman in Sayid's flashbacks) will be in this episode. How can she be in it if there will be flashbacks of Charlie?

Sorry to be obvious and quite dumb but wouldn't it be simpler for them just to cut the power to the station instead of sending someone on a suicide mission?? Even if there was a generator for power failures there it wouldn't last forever would it ?

Did anyone notice that in the flashback of Charlie before he saves Nadia, he was singing, it was the same place and time as when we saw him in Desmond's flashbacks earlier on. Yet Desmond wasn't in that flashback. Also, I think that if Charlie does die, Desmond would also die. Desmond only has a flash if he is in it. We also see him in the underwater station in the preview. If Charlie does press the button and flood the station, Desmond would be in it too.

If you watch 'Young Charlie' jumping into the pool, listen carefully. Someone else in the background shouts out "Come on Desmond". Co-incidence or deliberate? Plus the other flashback of Charlie (singing wonderwall)... It's raining. Remember Desmond's flashback a few episodes ago? (Where he bumped into Charlie playing Wonderwall) - It wasn't raining then, was it? Is this an 'alternate past' to the one Desmond 'saw'?

During the episode there was a new map of the island shown by Juliet... anyone get a screen capure of it, i'm not sure how to do this with high enough resolution to see it... :( maybe it will yeild some new clues!

Remeber Desmond once said that if he tells someone what happens, it will not happen. He told Charlie how he would die, and that Claire and Aaron will get on a helicopter. Does this mean that none of this will happen?

according to IMDB, locke could still be alive, because locke is in the cast of this episode(although IMDB can be wrong)

Was anyone else surprised by their sudden reappearance? I knew they'd be back this week since the actors' names appeared in the production notes. But I figured thye'd only be in flashbacks, you know maybe Rose giving Charlie some advice or something. But it was whoa, where'd they come from? And it was supposed to be like they hadn't been MIA for weeks. Does anyone know if there was something up with one of the actors...schedule conflicts, family or health issues?
I know with all the other exciting mysteries of Lost, why should I care about Rose and Bernard, but I like them. They're sweet.

They could be "Others"..."Others" who displeased Ben.
Remember, Ben wanted Locke to blow up the submarine. This has been theorized as him wanting to "cut off all escape from the Island". But last night's episode brings up another possibility....it could trap people inside of the underwater module. Juliet knew about "Looking Glass" and knew that it was being used to block signals off the Island. This means that Ben must have sent people down there to do that (If they were "surviving Dharma people", why would they block communications with the outside world???). But Ben also wanted Locke to blow the sub, trapping those people in the underwater module. (They might swim out, but it appeared as if Desmond and Charlie were pretty far out at sea, which means risking drowning to get back to shore). Perhaps the folks in the "Looking Glass" "displeased" Ben and he assigned them there and cut them off by having the sub blown up? IF they were "Dharma Initiative survivors", it won't make much sense. Again, why stay and keep blocking radio signals off the Island that helps "the Others"? And if they can block signals, they could also send them out.

one of the women in the underwater station appeared to be Cassidy. ethan @ juliet's apt building, monk in picture w/ blonde (sheriff) other (who fires desmond from being a monk), libby (possible other) insured eko and desmond's arrival to island, inman w/ sayid, on and on and on. could ' others' have been watching these people prior to their flight? could inman be part of dharma and could dharma have wanted these people to arrive on the island to take it back? could ben have orchestrated the blowing up of the swan station to purge the island once again of undesirables? if woman in underwater station is cassidy, then she had been in contact w/ kate and sawyer prior to flight. how did she get there? questioning out loud.

I'm thinking charlie won't die becuase the producers of the show decided to make every preview of every show until now , that charlie will die and once his opportunity comes , desmonds sight was wrong. maybe desmond knew? he kind of was a little eager to go instead of charlie.
All I'm saying is that they wouldnt start next weeks show with Charlie getting capped after everyone getting attached to him and claire.

My guess is the people in the hatch have lost contact with the people on the surface ever since Locke blew up the other hatch. Maybe Charlie can convince them he's a good person? Desmond saw him flip the switch, so Charlie is either going to flip it this time or maybe he gets out and goes back with an army? I kept having to leave the room during the show (NO) but I thought I saw a preview where Charlie goes running back for his DS ring. This means he has to make it out of the hatch. Or did I not see him go after his ring?

what if Locke dies? I mean, what if, for no reason, like all other main characters that died before(look at ana-lucia for example), the producers decided to kill locke, simply and definately, will the show be less good?
i think yes. Locke is the only one who actually cares about the secrets of the island. all the other are like "DUH, I'm scared, i wanna get off this island. I wanna kill all those others, because thats the way, huh huh huh huh, I like it...." |

IMDB is NEVER WRONG!!! Just kidding. I think either Charlie will die in the next two episodes, or someone will die trying to save him. I also think that Locke will survive by either some miracle or someone (possibly Alex? Carl?) will save him.
