OMG Moments:

  • Oceanic 815 is "found" under the ocean by the outside world.
  • Ben has a man on the inside of the freighter.
  • The man who met with Hurley assembled the team to go to the island.
  • In the Rescuers flashback, Naomi Dorrit is seen speaking to Matthew Abaddon and he tells her that she has to lead and protect the group.
  • Ben shoots Charlotte, but she was wearing a bulletproof vest.

New Clues:

Questions:
  • Where are the others that stayed behind at the "Temple" and why has Locke not considered going there?
  • If Ben calls this place areasonable sanctuary, then why would Locke not see that as well?
  • Why is Miles such an angry person?
    • It's possible that he's just angry about the fact that Naomi has died.
  • Why did they refer to Daniel as a head case?
  • Why is a Dharma polar bear in the desert?
  • Why are the people from the freighter looking for Ben?
  • Why would someone go through so much trouble and expense to make it appear everyone died that was on flight 815?

Trivia:
  • If Locke hadn't given Cooper his kidney, he would have died from the gunshot wound courtesy of Ben.
  • The name of the pilot of Oceanic Flight 815 is revealed as Seth Norris.
    • Seth Norris was supposed to be the original pilot of flight 815.

Theories:
  • From the looks of what has landed on the island along with Daniel, Miles, the pilot, and Charlotte, we may be facing another genocide on our hands. After everyone saw that container open, and saw the gas mask, along with seeing the look on Dan's face when Jack asked about it, I know we all thought the same thing. Ben said that everyone on the island would be killed, could it be that they plan to do this by fumigating the island?

The Sunda Trench is where the epicenter of the subduction earthquake off the coast of Sumatra, which caused the December 26, 2004 Tsunami.

There seems to be a connection, or plot set-up. If there is any connection we should find out in the seventh episode,(the one that the cast thinks is the most shocking), because we now know the date based on the episode the Constant(December 24, 2004).
