the Orchid. Jack decides to locate the helicopter, despite
Juliet's efforts to stop him because of his recent surgery. He brings along
Kate, and track down the helicopter. Daniel searches through his journal, and stops at a page with the Orchid logo on it. With an extremely worried expression on his face, he warns
Charlotte that they must get off the Island now.
Kate and
Jack are walking through the jungle when she notices that his wound is bleeding. Jack says that it is all part of the heeling process, but Kate knows he is lying. A noise is heard in the bushes, and
Miles comes out, being welcomed by Jack and Kate's drawn weapons.
Sawyer and
Aaron are just behind him. Kate asks where
Claire is, and Sawyer says they lost her in the jungle. He also says that
the barracks were attacked by the mercenaries. Jack decides to head for
the helicopter by himself, and tells Kate to take care of Aaron and head to the beach with Miles. Sawyer follows Jack to the helicopter.

returns to
the island on the raft. He warns about the imminent danger of the people on
the helicopter, and says they must start heading to
the freighter, six people at a time.
Kate arrives at the beach, and tells

Jack and
Sawyer are heading to the helicopter. Sayid and Kate run into the jungle, trying to find Jack and Sawyer, and warn them about the mercenaries.
Daniel decides to start transporting people off the island to the Kahana. The first people to leave are
Sun,
Jin,
Aaron, and three other survivors.
Ben leads
Locke and
Hurley to
the Orchid. Ben says that the Orchid is the place where they can move
the Island. Ben stops at a rock formation, and pulls out a case with
the Swan logo on it, containing a mirror, binoculars, and crackers. Hurley opens up the tin, and starts eating crackers. Ben tells Hurley that those crackers are
15 years old. Ben then uses the mirror to reflect a signal to a nearby mountain. The person responds to the signal. Locke asks who he was communicating to, and what they said. Ben said "Who do you think" to the first question, and "none of your business" to the second.
Daniel and the six survivors arrive at
the Kahana.
Desmond helps them on board, and Daniel hurries away to pick up the next group.
Michael approaches Desmond, and says the engines are fixed. At the bridge of the ship, Desmond talks to Hendricks, and tells him to start moving towards
the Island. There is an interference, and he says he will not be able to move the ship until the signal is stopped.
Jack and
Sawyer arrive at the helicopter, and discover that
Frank has been handcuffed to
the helicopter. Frank says that the mercenaries are going to kill everyone, and that
the freighter will be the safest place to be. He says that the mercenaries are heading to
the Orchid, and will do bad things to
Ben, and anyone with him. Sawyer realizes that
Hurley is with Ben and
Locke.
Jin and
Sun question
Michael, and asking him how he got here. Sun is surprised to hear he is working for
Ben, to which Michael replies he is not working for Ben. Suddenly,
Desmond comes out, shouting for help. They all enter inside, and discover a room full of C-4 explosives. Jin tells Sun to leave, which she does, carrying
Aaron.
Kate and
Sayid are tracking down
Jack and
Sawyer. Kate discovers that the footprints they've been following are not Jack or Sawyer's. A rustling is heard nearby, so Sayid calls for whoever is hiding to reveal themselves.
Richard Alpert comes out, and tells them to drop their weapons and calm down. Kate says not to make another step, but he keeps on moving, until a group of
Others point their guns at Kate and Sayid. They surrender, and they start heading to an unknown location.
Ben,
Locke, and
Hurley reach
the Orchid. Ben discovers that
Keamy and the mercenaries have already arrived. Ben tells Locke specific instructions of what to do when he gets to the Orchid. The exterior, which is a greenhouse, is not the actual station, but is underground, which can only be reached by going to the elevator. Ben gives Locke the baton, and walks into the Orchid, and surrenders to Keamy. Keamy holds a gun to his head and then knocks him out with it.
Flashforward: Two pilots are flying a US Coast Guard transport plane. One of them is holding a lucky charm, saying that he needs it because of the cargo that is on board. Karen Decker, an
Oceanic Airlines representative, walks to the cargo room, where the
Oceanic 6 are sitting. She tells them that they are soon to arrive at Honolulu, where their families are waiting. She says that they do not need to talk to the press, but
Jack insists that they do. After she returns to the cockpit, Jack tells the rest of the Oceanic 6 to stick to the story, and not to answer any questions they do not know the answer to. He says that the press will assume that they are in shock, to which
Sun replies "We
are in shock". The plane lands, and the door opens, Carmen and David Reyes, Mr. and Mrs. Paik, and Margo Shephard are there, and are overjoyed to finally see them after they have been missing and presumed dead for months.
Sayid and
Kate have no family to greet, so
Hurley introduces Sayid to his family. Kate is holding onto
Aaron, and is with no one.
Oceanic Airlines holds a press conference with the
Oceanic 6. First, Karen Decker talks about the story of their survival. The plane crashed in the ocean, and eight people manage to get out before the plane sunk. They were washed ashore on an uncharted island called Membata. Under unknown circumstances, two of them die. On day 103, a typhoon washes up a raft with supplies. On day
108, the six survivors wash up on the island of Sumba, Indonesia.
Jack is asked the question what was it like when the plane crashed. Jack responds by saying it happened very fast. He says that they found life jackets and seat cushions which they used to to stay afloat until the tide washed them in. Another reporter asked how they managed to stay in good health.
Hurley asked if the question was directed at him, and the reporter asked hoe does it feel to get all his money back. Hurley says he does not want his money back. A reporter asks
Sun in Korean was
her husband one of the people to die on
the island. Sun says that he died on the plane. A reporter asks
Kate what is was like to give birth to
Aaron on the island. She says it was scary. The reporter then asks how old is he. She says he is 5 weeks old. The reporter then brings up Kate's legal issue, prompting Karen Decker to cut him off, saying that that is off the table. The final question was if there is a possibility of there being any more survivors yet to be discovered.
Sayid responds, firmly saying absolutely not. After the conference was over, Karen tells Sayid that there is a woman looking for him whose name is Noor Abed Jazeem. He goes outside, and meets
Nadia.
Sun goes to Mr. Paiks office at
Paik Heavy Industries. Mr. Paik is talking to two people about a situation that had happened in five different banks. Sun asks if there is anything wrong. Mr. Paik says that it is company business, and that she would not understand. She accuses him of hating
Jin, and that he is one of two people responsible for his death. She says that
Oceanic Airlines gave her a huge settlement, which she used to buy a controlling interest for the company. She then say that once she has her baby, their will discuss plan for the future of
their company.
Hurley returns to his home after going to
Mr. Cluck's. He enters the house, and sees a coconut on the floor. He then starts to hear whispers. He then picks up a statue of Jesus Christ to use as a weapon, and opens up a door. A large crowd of friends and family is on the other side of the door, for a surprise birthday party. His mother asks him why he is holding the statue, and says that Jesus Christ is not a weapon.
Sayid,
Nadia,
Kate, and
Aaron are at the party, but Kate says
Jack is running late. David Reyes shows him his birthday present, the Camaro, which he worked on after he disappeared. He gives the keys to Hurley, and the go inside the car to take a ride. Hurley then notices
the numbers on the odometer. Hurley leaves the car, and runs down the street in fear.
Jack delivers his eulogy at
Christian Shephard's funeral. After the funeral, Carole Littleton approaches him. She says that she had a daughter with his father, and that she was on the same plane as him. She says her name was
