How in the world can he say that there in no time travel in the show? The whole episode "The Constant" deals with Desmonds ability to go from 2004 to 1996?

I agree, unless it is all ihn Desmonds head, like a dream, there would have to be time travel. I guess we will find out next season when we see what Penny has to say to Desmond. If she confirms that he was there, we will know he tjme traveled.

I am very new to the lost "world". Thanks to DVD i was able to watch all of season 1 and have just started season 2. As for this being the work of aliens............ what if they are on earth .......but are being studied.........studied like rats in a maze. They are being observed to see how they deal with preasures and stiuations delt to them. I beleave each person on that island was chosen to be there for a reason.

The movie The Village which was the most disappointing thing next to "Lost" in its current floundering lostness would have made SO much more sense if the older generation was keeping hidden from the kiddies that they had crash landed on a hostile planet generations ago and were pretending they were still on Earth.
My personal theory is that they are trapped in The Trueman Show and the stroll-on people like Niki and Paolo are androids dropped in now and then to confuse this group of numbskulls. I think the "shock ending" will be when someone opens the shutters of this biosphere and all the remaining Losties see Mr. and Mrs. America peering at them on world wide teevee. Frankly I would not waste my time waiting for this bunch of lab rats to do anything survival-oriented at all. (I think this is why the producers of The Lost Show have started dropping food to them because otherwise they were going to starve to death. The idea that Dharma was wiped out 25 years ago and NOW food is suddenly being dropped in the totally wrong location makes no sense even to devotees.) A more worthless bunch of human beings I can't even imagine putting together; even a random group of people gathered up from the average street corner would have a lot more people with actual brains and initiative in it than this bunch of rutty criminal women and wimpy men with Daddy Issues!
This show oesn't have enough left to last til 2010. It'll collapse long before that.

lost is getting way too long, boring and farfetched.
your theory is probably right and its the most sense i can make of lost my self. Personaly i feel that the story producers are just saying " what are the audience not going to expect, then well do it!" then they figure it out as the series goes along.
a friend of mine who has relative in Australia were they show it more than several times every day, told me that its all just a dream, the dream of the main guy, the doctor.
what a PANTS ending though, "it was a just a dream,!... OH OK! thats fine, so ive been watching some guys deluded dream while he sleeps on the plane.
it makes about as much sense as a dream and it wouldnt surprise me if it really is and the directors are trying to make it as accurate to a dream as they can so at the end of the serires they can say "yeah, were really good directors cos we made was a 3 series long dream sequence"
honestly, its just so silly.

Ok, lets get back in time a bit. The whole thing started during the 50's with one of the UFO's crash in Rosswell. The Government captured the craft and backengineered it. The Ufos engine works almost as an elektromagnet feeded throug a nuclear generator- with one exeption - it does not produce a megnet field, it produces a gravity field. This makes also timetravel possible and advanced electro gravity field technology. Since this topic is known for a small elite circle of people there is a trend going that humankind has to be prepared for the existance of Extraterestrials. This is the reason why we all get more and more sciensfiction these days as well as mystery crab like LOST. At 2012 the Mayan calender stops which means the secret will be revield. Wake up guys, the TV show lost is just another way to tell us "The Extraterestrials are coming soon - be prepared"
Majestic 12 is comunication throug movies as well. Thank you guys at M12 I really enjoy your sens of humor, however you will not be able to fool Human mankind for ever - the time is ticking!

first of all the TV series of Lost, WAY TOO FRUSTRATINGLY FRUSTRATING,
Second of all your paranoid theory thinking is just like mine.
During the 50S it wasnt a UFO that crashed in Nevada, Rosswell it was a manmade aircraft specificly designed to carry animals, namely monkeys, out into space. The monkeys were trained to pilot a light spacecraft and the vessel that crashed was a training jet. This was all experiments with NASA and the infamous Area 51 (which today has moved and been split into roughly 14 different sections of location now unkown). Area 51 was testing these chimps and their skill at piloting a live aircraft rather than simulations. The craft actually went haywire and through the ozone layer and stratosphere, the two chimps in their malfunctioning craft came hurtling back down to earth near a village to the south west of Rosswells Area 51. When the crash was cleaned up peices of the craft had melted and bent and morphed and lost parts so untill further examination it was impossible to instantly recognise as human craft. Area 51s agents werent exactly going to own up straight away anyway. Anyway, when the roof was torn off in the crash people saw two small, grey, leathery man shaped things with no eyes and hair in what was presumably the pilot seats. These burnt little things were actually the monkeys whose hair had burnt up and they caught fire upon reentry. it was hard to recognise these little things as chimps so people thought these things fell out the sky+ noone knows what the hell was driving it, they must be ALIENS!!! Makes sense at first but the world went nuts with alien obsession and when scientists discovered that the "aliens" were monkeys and the craft was human the public thought "yeah right" and thats how its started till today. Of course im not saying aliens dont exist, of course theyre real, ive personaly seen UFOs at two different occasions tell me if u dont believe me about that and ill explain it all.

I'm not quite sure if you have seen this video. If you go to lostexperienceclues.com and scroll down it will have this interesting video that Rachel Blake had uploaded over the summer. This location has to be on the earth because there were originally human civilizations on the island and if they were no longer on planet Earth, then how did Desmond stumble upon it when he was sailing around the world?
