Eden
Someone (knowing television its prolly a government) is trying to re-create the garden of Eden. Or alternatively the DHARMA people/suspicious group of your choce ha found this island which they BELIEVE to be Eden and are trying to restore man to his former (pre original sin) state. This could be really interesting because it will tie in with all of the other religious crap going on, including the scientology stuff. I might add that whomever put that theory together is very convincing and I would not be at ALL surprised if scientology didnt have something to do with the outcome.

All of the Doomsday Equation stuff (go Wiki it, its pretty cool) is someone trying to recreate Eden in order to prevent/delay Judgement?
Jack as a Christ figure, his last name is Shepard, and Christ os often reffered to both as the shepard and as the sacrificial lamb. more on the shaparding thing: Abel was a shepard, Caine was a gardener, and god prefered Abels sacrifice of sheep over Cain's sacrifice of fruits, so Caine got jealous and killed Abel. other shepards include king David, the prophet Moses, the prophet Amos, etc. Are we about to witness the birth of a new redemptive christ figure? is it going to be Claires baby, Aaron?
Walt exibiting a LOT of cool Biblical stuff. In the garden before the fall of man man was in total harmony with nature and in the wild world of TV i could totally see that idea being extended to his apparent ability to create stuff out of his mind.
This will also explain (ok, not explain yet but al least explain why its being brought up) the names of the characters and the ammount of philosophical bullcrap bouncing around. Locke, Roussou (who wrote the Social Contract, wow, hit me on the head with a sledgehammer, you want to make that one any more obvious?) Hume, Edmund Burke, they are all ovet the place.
Eko and his brother look an AWEFUL lot like Caine and Abel and Eko even refuses to repent, same as Caine
This guy Jacob we seem to hear so much about ( the Jacob in the bible had famous issues getting his wife knocked up)
there is totally more of this. and anyway, this would be a good solution.

I located a book explaining where the Garden of Eden is supposed to be. It stated that when God banished Adam and Eve from the Garden due to the snake, Adam built a gigantic figure of a man dressed in clothing, and sourounded it with many giant gems like rubys and emeralds. Because of this, God allowed them back into the Garden. Then when the flood (Noah) the water rose, and Adam and Eve and their children hid in the caves on the mountain (which was a volcano). When the water went down there was a ship resting on one of the peaks of the mountain, but then the volcano came (this is where the village has been sitting). It said the people who came there, if sick would be instantly well, and those who were dead would rise from the dead. Depending on their actions. My theory is (Now you understand that I said MY Theory) is that the black smoke is the snake. Me. Eko did not recognise his brother to actually be Satan, and the snake (aka Satan) took him. In the book, it also said that during the flood several boats traveling together roped themselves together but hit the hudge island and were wrapped around under the water. The garden also holds a lot of magnatism to it. Just a book guys. But that is what I read. I believe that Claire is Mary, and Aaron represents Christ.
