About LOST as a tv show, the network and general behind the scenes stuff

When is LOST coming back? I'm tired of waiting!
  • Season 4 will premiere in the US on Thursday January 31, 2008 at 9pm EST. The first eight episodes will air on Thursdays at 9pm.

How will the writer's strike affect LOST?
  • The late start that many complained about is actually benefiting us. Eight episodes of season four were finished before the strike started. If the strike isn't settled in the near future (or if an actor strike begins in April), then just the eight episodes will air without breaks. That's more new episodes than any other series has ready to go for the spring.

The promo for next week's episode said that questions would be answered and/or something shocking would happen and it DIDN'T! I should blame the writers for this, right?

  • Not at all. The writers and producers have no input on the promos whatsoever. That's the ABC Marketing Department. Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse (two executive producers who do The Official LOST Podcast) have expressed their frustration at this, too, but it probably won't change.

I missed the latest episode of LOST; where can I watch it?
  • For free on ABC.com. Episodes are up the next day and stay up for about a month.

The episode I want to see isn't on ABC.com anymore. What do I do?
  • iTunes has all the episodes available (even seasons one and two) for $1.99 per episode. You don't need an iPod to watch, just a computer that has the system requirements to run video through iTunes. They also do a season pass for $34.99 that auto downloads the episodes the day after their air.

What about YouTube and BitTorrent? And aren't there some LOST sites that host the episodes? Should I link to one?
  • That would be really helpful to people trying to see the episodes, but not helpful to the sites. This site is run by wikifoundry.com (though with a team of independent moderators), so you never know what legal eyes might be scanning for copyright infringement. Don't advertise illegal ways of getting LOST.
