Sevaral fires have happened nearby the camp.



"...In Translation"

After Michael built the raft, which took much time and effort to create, someone intentionally caused a fire. Nothing can be done about it, and the raft is destroyed. At first Michael accuses Jin of setting the fire. Sun manages to convince him that it was not Jin who did it. Later, Locke talks to Walt, and asks why he set the raft on fire. Walt admitted to setting it on fire because he likes being on the island, and doesn't want to leave. Walt later tells Michael that he burned the raft.

"Fire + Water"

Charlie tried to kidnap Aaron so he can baptise him, because he thought that he was in danger. Sayid spots a fire in the distance, and many of the survivors came to help put it out. Charlie manages to get Aaron, but is soon caught when he starts to cry. Locke takes the baby away from him, and punches Charlie. Aaron, along with Claire, are later baptised by Mr. Eko. Charlie admits to Jack that he set the fire, but he already knew about it.

"The Cost of Living"

Mr. Eko is inside his tent, when a vision of Yemi appears, holding a lighter. Charlie and Hurley are inside the tent, and they smell smoke. The tent somehow caught fire. Charlie and Hurley manage to pull out Eko. Eko mumbles to Charlie saying "My... brother. Yemi, Yemi..." Locke comes and asks if everything is alright, and Mr. Eko suddenly vanishes.
