There are some questions that pop up again and again. Here, in onethis page, section, are some answers. If you see someone ask one of these questions in a comment, feel free to point them this a way. If you think a question should be added to this list, leave a comment below.
About LOST as a tv show, the network and general behind the scenes stuffWhen is LOST coming back? I'm tired of waiting!
Season 4 will premiere in the US on Thursday January 31, 2008 at 9pm EST. The first eight episodes willbelow airor on Thursdays at 9pm.
How will the writer's strike affect LOST?
The late start that many complained about is actually benefiting us. Eight episodes of season four were finished before the strike started. If the strike isn't settled in the near future (or if an actor strike begins in April), then just the eight episodes will air without breaks. That's more new episodes than any other series has ready to go for the spring.
The promo for next week's episode said that questions would be answeredpage and/or something shocking would happenyou andthink it DIDN'T! I should blame the writers for this, right?
Not at all. The writers and producers have no input on the promos whatsoever. That's the ABC Marketing Department. Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse (two executive producers who do The Official LOST Podcast) have expressed their frustration at this, too, butfall it probably won't change.under.
I missed the latest episode of LOST; where can I watch it?
What about YouTube and BitTorrent? And aren't there some LOST sites that host the episodes? Should I link to one?

For free on ABC.com. Episodes are up the next day and stay upAbout forLOST aboutas a month.
The episode I want to see isn't on ABC.com anymore. What do I do?
iTunes hastv allshow, the episodes available (even seasons onenetwork and two) for $1.99 per episode. You don't need an iPod to watch, just a computer thatgeneral hasbehind the systemscenes requirementsstuff to run video through iTunes. They also do a season pass for $34.99 that auto downloads the episodes the day after their air.
What about YouTube and BitTorrent? And aren't there some LOST sites that host the episodes? Should I link to one?
- That would be really helpful to people trying to see the episodes, but not helpful to the sites. This site is run by Wetpaint.com (though with a team of independent moderators), so you never know what legal eyes might be scanning for copyright infringement. Don't advertise illegal ways of getting LOST.
About the storylines and plot of LOST:LOST
What's the deal with Tallahassee?
References to Tallahassee, FL seem to have started out as a joke that has turned into an animosity between the city of Tallahassee and the writers. Perhaps some of the writers are democrats and disliked the governor at the time (Jeb Bush, brother to President George W. Bush); perhaps someone on staff is a Gator or a 'Cane (the Florida State Seminoles' chief rivals in college football); perhaps they just thought the name was funny. We may never know. What happened to Rose and Bernard? Did The Others get them? Is it a conspiracy?
As answered on a podcast episode by Carlton Cuse, while Rose and Bernard are still around, the actors that portray them have other gigs to do. The producers don't want to make them fly down to Hawaii just to hang out in the background of Nikki and Paulo's funeral. They will, however, return in "Greatest Hits." So if the plane was found and everyone was dead, it's purgatory, right? And the producers have lied to us? PS: They're lying about the nanobots, too, right?
- No. As stated on the April 30, 2007 podcast, the island is still not purgatory and there are some other options for the parachutist's statement. Likewise, they would not go back on something they'd repeatedly said was not true as is the cast with the Black Smoke = Nanobots theory.
About this wiki:wiki
Why did my comment/entry/addition get deleted?
It was probably violating something in this Wiki's Code of Conduct, the Wetpaint Terms of Use or the ABC.com Terms of Use. If have have a specific inquiry, please send a message to Moderator Lulamae
How can I be a moderator?
There's no formula, but if you write articulately, come across pretty diplomatic and have a generally well behaved past on the wiki, feel free to talk to a moderator about it.
Someone's making lots of comments and edits about how LOST sucks. What should I do?
In articles, you can edit the offensive comments out yourself if you're so inclined. In comments, the best tactic is to just ignore them and give a moderator a heads up if you want to; the person doing it will get bored if no one starts fighting with them and a moderator will spot the comments soon.
Why is this site so US-specific? I view LOST outside the US and I'd like to not be spoiled about the stuff we haven't seen yet.
- Because this site is run by ABC.com, anything aired in the US is fair game for discussion. I certainly sympathize with you (many of my friends live in the UK), but the best advice I have is to check back when the season's over.
