Hurley's Camaro is a Chevrolet Camero which came out during 1970-1972. It first belonged to his dad, David Reyes. When Hurley was a child they both worked on the car, which was broken at that time. David Reyes realized that it would need a new carburetor. He said that fixing the car would have to be put on hold, because he needed to go to Las Vegas. He did not return for 17 years.

After Hurley won the lottery, David Reyes returned. He tried to convice Hurley that the lottery numbers were not cursed. He also wanted to finish fixing the car, but Hurley decicded to leave for Australia.

After the plane crash, David began to work on the Camaro as a tribute to Hurley. After being rescued, David gave the car as a birthday present during his birthday party. When he got in, he noticed the odometer read 4 8 15 16 23 42, the numbers. Hurley freaked out, and ran away, saying he did not want the car.

Some time later, Hurley saw Charlie at a convienance store. Hurley went into his car, freaked out, and a police chase started. Hurley drove thorugh a pile of papayas, and drove onto the freeway. At this time, Action 8 News started covering the story, which Jack watched on his television while having a drink. The chase ended at a Circuit House store, where he crashed into another car. Randy Nations, the former boss and employee of Hurley at Mr. Cluck's, and Locke's boss at the Box Company filmed the crash. Hurley came out of the car, and attempted to run away. He was soon aprehnded, and he started shouting he was part of the Oceanic 6.
