Who he is: Kocol was part of the mercenary team that captured Alex, and killed Karl and Rousseau. They went to the sonic fence, and forced Alex to deactivate it. They invaded the barracks, killing three survivors. Kocol was the mercenary who fired the RPG at Claire's house almost killing her. Later, Keamy killed Alex in front of Ben. Out of revenge, he summoned the Smoke Monster, attacking the mercenaries.

After returning to the Kahana, he helped carry Mayhew off the helicopter, after he was attacked by the Monster.

On the second mission to the Island, they went to the Orchid, where they stood guard, waiting for Ben to arrive. When Ben surrendered, they escorted him to the helicopter. The mercenaries were ambushed by the Others. Kocol was attacked by an Other who snapped his neck, killing him.
