Season 5 DVD12/8/09: The Fifth Season of Lost has been released on DVD and Blu-ray in the United States and Canada. It was previously released in the United Kingdom on 10/21/09.


Season 6 Poster11/19/09: The official airdate for the premiere of Season 6 is Tuesday, February 2nd, 2009 at 9PM. This is the Final Season of Lost. There will be a recap special which airs the hour before (8PM) the two-hour premiere (9-11PM). Tuesdays at 9PM will be the regular timeslot for the show. It is unknown if the Olympics will cause a break in the show, which was previously said last month.

The Olympics10/25/09: Carlton Cuse says that the 6th and final season of Lost will not run without interruption. There will be a break for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. The Olympics airs between February 12 - 28 2010. The premiere for Lost has yet to be announced. However, while Carlton Cuse has announced this, ABC has not, so this has not been set in stone.



Emerson Wins Emmy Award
9/20/09: Michael Emerson wins an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. This is his third nomination but first win for his portrayal of Ben Linus. Lost was nominated for best drama, but Mad Men won in this category again.

Blu-ray6/16/09: Season One and Season Two are set to be released on Blu-ray DVD on this date. Seasons 3-4 have already been released in Blu-ray.
