How Long has He been on the Island: He claims that he has been there for 11 years
Life on Island: Worked in the Flame Station which was used for communications to the outside world. First encountered survivors when Sayid, Locke, and Kate came to the station. He claimed to be the last surviving member of Dharma. Sayid found out that he was lying. They captured him, along with Ms. Klugh. He shot and killes Ms. Klugh. Later, Locke pushed him into the sonic fence and he had a cerebral hemorrhage. They thought he was dead, but he was actually alive. He ran into Desmond, Charlie, Hurley and Jin. He said that if he helped save the parachutist, they would let him free. He saved her, and then ran back into the jungle.
Questions: Did he cheat death?
Note: A glass eye was found by the tail survivors.
