Mayhew

Occupation: A mercenary of the Kahana.

Hails from: Unknown.

Who he is: Mayhew was part of the mercenary team that captured Alex, and killed Karl and Rousseau. They went to the sonic fence, and forced Alex to deactivate it. They invaded the barracks, killing three survivors, and blowing up Claire's house, almost killing her. Later, Keamy killed Alex in front of Ben. Out of revenge, he summoned the Smoke Monster, attacking the mercenaries. Mayhew was grabed by the Monster, and dragged away. He was then thrown 50 feet into the air, causing internal damage to him.

The mercenaries were walking through the jungle, carrying the severally injured Mayhew. They met with Frank, who convinced them that they should get back the the Kahana. When they arrived at the Kahana, Mayhew was taken to the doctor, who asked Keamy what happened. He explained the Monster's attack, describing it as a column of black smoke. Mayhew later died as a result of his injuries.
