Moriah Vineyards is the monastery Desmond stayed at while he was a monk. The monastery has a vineyard, where they make a limited 108 cases a year. Each bottle was sold at over £100.

After Brother Campbell discovered Desmond had drunk some bottles of wine, he was dismissed from the monastery. Charles Widmore recently ordered several cases of wine, and sent Penelope Widmore to pick them up. Desmond and Penny met here for the first time.
