Overview: Oceanic Airlines is the airline of the plane that crashed on the island. It was founded in 1974. The President of the company is Michael Orteig. The logo has 18 dots on the outside (16 when used as an "O" above) and a total of 4 circles. Besides Flight 815, Oceanic Airlines has been seen in many flashbacks.

In Lost: Oceanic Airlines Flight 815, a Boeing 777 crashes onto the island in "Pilot Part 1". It was heading from Sydney to Los Angeles. In "Maternity Leave", a plane mobile on the crib have the Oceanic Airlines logo on them. In "Lockdown", a plane flies over the motel Locke was at to find Anthony Cooper. In "I Do", Kevin bought Oceanic Airlines tickets to Costa Rica for his and Kate's honeymoon. In "Not in Portland", A plane flies by in Miami in Juliet's flashbacks. In "Flashes Before Your Eyes", an advertisement for Oceanic Airlines is seen on the soccer game that Desmond saw in the pub.


The Website: The Oceanic Airline website is small, and you can't do much. There is a contradictory statement on the website. It says that all flights have been canceled because of financial problems after the crash of Flight 815. This cannot be true, because in "Through the Looking Glass", Jack was on Oceanic Airlines in his flash-forwards. The link to the website is

Oceanic Airlines announced that it will be back in business starting on December 31, 2007, and launched a new website. This site was hacked by Sam Thomas, who redirects people to go to find815.com.
