Danielle Rousseau, along with the rest of her expedition, dug a trench for a temporary camp. They lived there for two months until, according to Rousseau, everyone else came down with a sickness. Not long after this, she killed the sick people. She is convinced that the Others caused this sickness. She set booby-traps around the shelter to protect herself from the Others. Sayid got caught in a trap, and was taken prisoner by Rousseau. After she interrogated him, she asked him to fix a music box that was given to her by her husband, Robert. Sayid manages to escape, along with notes and maps belonging to Rousseau. 
Fearing Sayid will return with other people, she abandoned camp, and set another booby-trap, which when tripped, will detonate the camp. When Sayid, along with Jack, Hurley, and Charlie come to find her, Jack steps on a trap, self-destructing up the camp. Rousseau's other traps include nets, which Jack and Kate got caught in, and later Ben. There are various traps set along the cable, including the one that Sayid got caught in, and the arrow, which almost killed Charlie. Questions:
