Who he is: Sam Thomas is the main character in the ARG, Find 815. He had a girlfriend, named Sonya, who was a flight attendant for Flight 815. When Oceanic Airlines stopped looking for the plane, he expressed his dissatisfaction, and had an interview on GMN World News.

His room is covered by maps, and information of Flight 815, including basic information about some passengers, including Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Jin, Sun, Locke, and Claire.

Not long after seeing himself on TV, he received an email from someone who knew Sonya; the email had a picture of her. The image has some mistakes compared to the picture he has. This picture has four clues, saying Sundra Trench, Christaine I, Black Rock, and "Tell no one- Grave consequences. The email has a connection to the Maxwell Group.

A friend of his, Tracey R, gathered information about the Christiane I, which is a ship looking for the Black Rock. At the same time, he was also looking for job opportunities for Austral Air. Sam Decided to fly to the Sundra islands, which a friend of him booked a ticket to Jakarta.
