Sarah Shephard
The Actor: Julie Bowen
Biography: Sarah Shepherd is Jack Shephers' ex-wife. She was driving the other car in an accident that killed Shannon Rutherford's father, Adam Rutherford, a little over three years before Oceanic Flight 815 crashed. She was engaged to Kevin at the time of her car accident.
She was miraculously cured after Jack returned from running and talked to Desmond. This led to them getting married. It is nknown whether she used Jack's last name, but it is assumed that she did. Sarah and Jack ultimately get divorced as Sarah claims that she has met someone else.
Her story
After a car accident that took the life of Shannon's father, Jack promised he would fix her to allow her to dance at her wedding. He did... and she did... but at their wedding. One of the prime examples of how Jack never gives up. Sarah left Jack, partially because of his addiction to his work, to be with someone else, claiming that Jack will "always need something to fix". Jack accused her of secretly seeing his father in "A Tale of Two Cities", and in the same episode she bailed him out of jail and told him that his father called her, drunk, to tell her that Jack was jailed. Look at the bright side, "now you have something to fix", she told Jack at the end of the episode.
