I was thinking it would be interesting maybe if Widmore, and Ben were some how brothers. It's unlikely, but maybe they something related to each other through Jacob.

Okay, so back whenever it was, Damon Lindelof said "There are no spaceships. There isn't any time travel,” Okay, so does that mean that what Desmond experienced is Time Travel? Lindelof also said (after "flashes before your eyes" had aired) that "~Desmond did indeed have that experience in the year 1996" (im paraphrasing) So does this mean that they have changed their mind as to whether time travel is plausible in the show or is it still NOT time travel. If someone could help me clear this up once and for all, i think it would REALLY help, not jsut in solving a mystery, but also in generally theorising about the show; pseudoscientifically, realistically or otherwise.

Lock is told to move the island. We must not think of this as actually moving the island. But moving it to a different position in time. With the electromagnets on the island it is very possible to open a new worm hole and shift the island to a new point in time. But how will that throw off everything else? Is it possible the move it to when the 815er's land on the island to make their rescue seem quick? Or do they move it so far ahead in time or in revers that there is actually civilization on the island (building reflection in water).

Alright, here it goes. The "Lost" island is somewhere in the south pacific (leaving Australia, set for LA). Let's say (suspend reality for a minute) that the Bermuda Triangle is some crazy magnetic anomaly (maybe some kind of "black hole") that creates a wormhole to the other side of the Earth, the south Pacific. By this theory, something goes into the Bermuda Triangle, and winds up on the other side of the Earth. This would explain why Juliette departed from MIAMI, via submarine, and wound up in the South Pacific (and, yes, the Bermuda Triangle is just off the coast of Miami). So now for Atlantis. Some say that Atlantis may have been located around Bermuda (again, please suspend reality). The Bimini Road, found near the Bermuda triangle, is thought to be a remnant of Atlantis (google Bimini Road). This is my thought: Atlantis, because of the odd electromagnetism of the area (true magnetic anomalies in Bermuda Triangle), got sucked down, though some wormhole, and spit back out in the South Pacific. If the "wormhole" exhibits weird electromagnetic properties, that would explain the black rock found on the island, the electromagnetic phenomenon in the hatch, as well as the reason why compasses do not work (the bermuda triangle is one of the two only places on earth where compasses don't point north (well, geographic north) not to split hairs). So, if you were to try to navigate to the island, you couldn't detect it w/ a compass. A plane could get there, if it crashed. Also, this would be an explanation for the slave-trade ship found on the island (slave-trade ships voyaged through the Bermuda Triangle). I'm running out of room, so a few last points: Penny's workers detected SOMETHING they were looking for. And they were stationed someplace REALLY cold, like a POLE (s or n). I think the Widmores are looking for atlantis, and the poles are perhaps the only place to perceive the magnetic anomaly. I'm out of room, so post a reply if there's ANYTHING else

I think I Cracked LOST

I just watched the 11th episode of season 3 last night at around 9 pm, it’s the one where Kate, Lock, and Saeed met the Russian, and then entered the barracks going through the sonic towers, and the episode ends with us watching Jack playing football with the others.

Its now 4 30 a.m. and I think I got it all together, the whole LOST thing, and this is how I see it;

The Others : A Religious – most probably Jewish – colony living on the island for a long long time.



The List : A list made by a magnificent man of all the “GOOD PEOPLE”, who exist in in the least amount of sin. “Al Salehoon”



The Magnificent Man: Which I think I heard in one of the episode been called Jacob, is a prophet, or maybe a descendant of a prophet line. And that’s why his List is so Sacred.



Dharma Initiative: Did exist, but they made the mistake of picking up on the powers found on this Island and developed their research center which conflicted with the The Others Aims.



Statue of a 4 fingered foot: A remainder of the old Kingdom of Suleiman.



Black Clouded figures: Also remnants of the old Kingdom of Suleiman, and I think they are a form of Powerful Spirits. “Al Jin”



Breaking the Captives In: Is bringing them into the religion. “Da3wah”



And the above I think explains A LOT of things, and some of these things from my point of view is this:

Why Aaron was baptized
How The Others got their info on the list members: as they are backed up by their people back home, or by people who fear them.
The visions that everyone is getting: as to guide them to their FATES.
The Others understanding the powerful nature of some of the people of the plane.
Why the Russian shot the black woman : Zeal

This storyline (like others) was written to be short-lived. Most writers write for the short terem in order to sell a great story. When a stroy-line (such as Lost) now has to be extended to fit a new 4-year commitment, it becomes problematic. Most of what we see now was never intended to be part of the saga. Once in a while they will try to resolve certain issues but not in the way it was originally written. I myself would pay for the the "short" version of Lost so I could understand the: polar bear, black mist, Dharma, the "boy", Mama Cass' It's Getting Better, etc. I'll bet it was much more interesting than the story we're now watching.
