I don't know if someone has already picked up on this, but about the polar bears: the DI might be trying to 're-territorialize' them because of global warming. I just watched that Al Gore movie "An Invonvenient Truth", and apparently because the ice is melting at such a massive and rapid pace, polar bears are actually drowing because they don't have any ice to lay on in between swims. They are having to swim like 60 miles without taking a break. So I was just thinking that the DI might be trying to re-climatize them on the island to save them from dying when the ice is completely gone.

I though this map was and still is the single most interesting mystery. Areas have not been discovered and they need to be. I wonder what the "Arrow Station is?" I think this station would be a weapon development station...just imagine how cool that would be....a room full of advanced dharma weapons that have the capabilities of destroying a continent...I think Locke should discover that station.

When looking at the map, we see the dharma stations. It is obvious that all of the stations are somewhat connected by a "?." What is this question mark? Could it be Jacob's home? Also on the map, I see the sqare roots of 16, 64, and 225. For anyone that hasn't noticed, this comes out to be 4, 8, 15. Finally, is there any signifigance in the part of the map that is crossed out? Is it a lost station of some sort?

On the map, it says something about a D.I.H.G. team. Remember the guy who recruited Roger Linus? His name was Horice Goodspeed (H.G.) Possibly, H.G. stands for Horice Goodspeed and I'm almost sure D.I. stands for Dharma Initiative. Maybe Horrice had a team in that area. So D.I.H.G Team might stand for Dharma Initiative Horice Goodspeed's Team.

I looked at the blast door map and I saw it said for the Staff " Confirmed Site of Cacadues Medi blah blah blah... Here is the interesting part, "Cadedus station, believed to be abandend due to the ADMDG Incident of 1985, or possible catastropic malfunction of the ceberus system." Ceberus System is the smoke monster thing and could have protected the Dharma Inititive scientists as they worked." Another interesting thing...
Alledged location of # 4 the flame. But unlikely due to the Ceberus Activity. This means that the smoke monster (pardon my teenage slang) likes to hang out near the station. Clease any evil-doers as they get off the sub? |

This is another literary/film reference: In the Science Fiction novel and subsequent movie Event Horizon (1997), the plot hinges around a rescue mission in response to a long lost spaceship that is broadcasting what they at first assume is a distress signal- "Liberte me ex inferis", which would mean "Save me from Hell". As they get closer to the target, though, they realize that it is broadcasting a warning: "Liberte te ex Inferis" or "Save yourself from Hell".
