if juliette is wanting ben dead, perhaps she is working for the 'people on the boat' instead? They want him too.

if you checkmout the mittelos biotech website and enter the user name jburke and password rachel, you will see a map there is a large main Island and two smaller islands one above the main island and one to the left, check it out! the question still arises tho how are the 2 other islands not visible from the main Island, because even being 2 miles offshore it should still be visible to the naked eye!!

The first scene with Ben watching Flight 815 falling from th sky, Ben sends two of the others to go-'You can get there in __minutes'. How can they cross that distance in the water?
Also, couldn't Ben have shown Sawyer a different island all together, but still be standing on The Main Island where the crash happened, and where the others live.

In the awaited Season 3 Episode 7 RETURN, it has been rumored that we will find out the details behind the one island or two debate!
My bet is that there are two islands, and in the coming episodes Kate, Sawyer, and Jack will escape the Alcatraz(second) Island. If I'm wrong on the Two Island thing, I'll eat my words all over these Message Boards!

Ben is coning Sawyer, he said so in the episode.
Ben and Sawyer are standing on the main 'lost' island. Ben was showing Sawyer a second island that has no connection to the story thus far. Season 3 Episode1 begining shows where the 'others' live on the island, with the smoking parts of the plane clearly seen rising up from the same island in the distance. Look at a still image and prove me wrong.

i have got three theories within it:
1) There are two islands and when ben showed sawyer the other island and said that this is your island over there, but actually he showed sawyer the others island were the little houses were and they are really on the first island (where the plane carshed) ,ben only said that because he wanted that sawyer would not have escaped from him ,beliveing that sawyer believes that there is no point to run because they are not on their island. 2)ben is telling the truth to sawyer, that they are on The others island ( where the hydra station is ) and just after the plane vcrash everybody moved to another island justin case if they would be discovered. 3) BUT THE MOST BELIVABLE THEORIE OF MINE IS remember when on the tape a chinese man told about to pushing buttons and later Locke founf three hedge to and findind the tapes in it to and the chinese guy only mentioned " one island" . AND also when Locke draw a map about the stations ,which showed they way to other stations, and if the map was right then why would be on it a hydra station direction when it is on another island? then there would be only 5 direction but there were 6 ..so i am guessing that the two islands are actually ONE ISLAND ..maybe if they separated after te hedge explode or something else? because then would sawyer and michale seen it on the raft and also Jin and sayid,,because when ben showed sawyer the island they saw it pretty clearly,so how the hell michale, sawyer, jin and sayid did not saw it. everybody who agrees that the two islands are actually one ,,,just vote.. that somehow they were separated |

I forget the episode name but Walt gets taken and then Sawyer and Michael are sitting on the ruins and Sawyer said that the boat that took Walt left port from the island because it wouldn't last out in the ocean, water was pouring over the sides or something. How can Walt and Micheal leave the island in the boat? The boat isn't going to last unless rescue is right there!

Remember when the group of others that got the sailboat returned and one of the others who wasn't on the expedition (Ben maybe? I don't remeber off-hand...) said "the sub is back." That would seem to imply that the others have a submarine to get back and forth between the islands. From what we've seen so far, it really looks like the others' suburbia is on the main island, but that doesn't mean that the Hydra is on the same island.

This island has been stocked with many amenities: underground stations, contemorary washers and dryers, food drops, tvs, computers, etc.
All of this has to have some real value to someone, or some company. Wether it is the Hanso Foundation or a government issued aid, there has to be a monitary benifit in order for all of this stuff to be acomplished. If they are saving the world and that is it, then who is allowing this to continue? The tv show Lost will loose its base if they do not justify these wild sets existing for no apparent reason then to just do experiments. Science for the sake of science will not answer the question: Where is the money? Where does it come from? Why? I want answers |

I think its pretty likely to be a different island, but that the two are connected by an underground tunnel. After all, if Jack, Kate and Sawyer had crossed the water in a boat with those bags on their head they would've have known. Plus the darma institute probably built underground tunnels all over the place, after all they built loads of underground hatches and a zoo, so why not one under the sea too. Also i think Juliette is lying and really wants to overthrow ben herself so she can be in charge for a change, or conversely they could just be experimenting to see what jack can be pushed to do (remember those tests they supposedly did to Walt).

Jack figures out that he is under water and that the table in his "cell" would be good for sharks like the ones we saw in a video during the "Lost Experience." anyway, I do believe that they are being held prisoner on another island.
Ben does say to Goodwin "you run you could make that coast line in an hour." I think the "Others" are smart enough to hold their prisoners somewhere other than "Othersville," and the zoological station would be the best place since it's like a little prison with the cages. I do not think we have any reason to believe that the Others actually live at that station..

We don´t know how many want to overthrow Ben, the others may be divided into one group in power and one or more groups seeking power. All we know is that Juliet doesn´t like Ben, and even that is not enought to conclude that she is telling the truth, for all we know it can all be part of the strategy to break Jack and make him cooperate...
