The headquarters is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. The main goal of the company is to make a better tomorrow for mankind. In Lost: Most of the information about the Hanso Foundation is seen in the Swan orientation video in "Orientation". It mentions that the Dharma Initiative is funded by Alvar Hanso. In the video, It shows the headquarters, and then zooms in, showing Alvar Hanso.

The Lost Experience: The Hanso Foundation was the center of the Lost Experience, an alternate reality game played in the summer of 2006 between the second and third season of Lost. It revealed more information about the company. The website was used to find clues. It was shut down by hackers but reopened later with just one letter.
