The Lost Experience
This section is under construction. Please come back later. Thank you for your patience.

In May 2006, the producers of Lost teamed up with corporate sponsers (for fundage) and networks around the world to being something called The Lost Experience. In short, all the stations worldwide that air Lost will get clues. And possibly different clues from other countries. The clues will lead viewers to find the never-intended for air-time backstory of some of the mythology of the show. Since different clues are given to different stations, the producers are making interested viewers communicate with fans all over the world to get all the pieces. The information given will not be specific to season 1 or 2, but will be a parallel storyline that will not require viewers to be up to date with the show, allowing all countries to participate, no matter how far they're up to.
This is not a marketing thing thought up by ABC (although it will keep US viewers interested through the summer)... this is something the producers came up with and sound really excited about, which is the coolest thing ever. They're as big of geeks as their fanbase, and have all this backstory that they know will never make it to the show. But they know fans want it and they want to give it.

If you mean my personal experience through the "LOST" adventure, then I would have to say it is delightfull. I love to try and figure out what might come next, and I get really get into the moment. My daughter on the other hand, takes the "LOST" experience in a completely different way. She just looks for the fun and adventure of the show. She thinks we Losties are far too into the show, that if we just watched every episode, we can come up with the answers very easily. Now, to make things clear about her -- she bought all three seasons so far, and every year before we watch the new season, we watch all three seasons to catch up. So, I ask --- who is the REAL Lostie?!
