One of the others from last season carried a Lugar, which was a pistol used by the Germans in WWII. Recently one of the others had an AK-47. They don't seem to have modern weapons like the passengers of flight 815 do. Also, the flight seemed to have crashed because Desmond didn't push the button in time, a magnetic anomoly. They are likely no where near Austrailia. Could they have been teleported to a place that's hidden from "normal" equipment? Could the Hanso Foundation be part of the Philadelphia Experiment of 1943?
