The Science Expedition

The Science expedition was a group of French researchers who came to the Island after their ship, the Bésixdouze crashed in a storm in 1988. During this time, they came across Jin, who was floating in the ocean after the Kahana exploded.Upon arriving, they picked up a transmition, which was a voice repeating the numbers. They attempted to arrive at the Radio Tower, but were attacked by the Smoke Monster while traveling through the Dark Territory. Several months later, Rousseau believed that the smoke monster caused them to fall sick, and shot and killed them because of fear that she could become sick as well. Rousseau gave birth to Alexandra, who was then taken by the Others. She lived in solitude for 16 years, until Flight 815 crashed.
