The Searcher is a ship owned by Penelope Widmore. The ship spotted the life raft the Oceanic 6, Desmond and Frank were in, and rescued them. Henrik, from the Listening Station, called out for Ms. Widmore. Desmond and Penny see each other, and Desmond frantically climbs on board, and runs to greet Penny for the first time in over three years. Desmond introduces the rest of the people to Penny. Jack tells her that they need to talk. One week later, the Oceanic 6 prepare to leave, while Desmond and Frank stay on the boat. Before leaving, Jack tells Desmond "I'll see you in another life, brother". The Oceanic 6 leave on a raft to the island of Sumba.
Trivia: The HMS Searcher was a British Royal Navy aircraft carrier during World War II.
