After Artz exploded at the Black Rock, the group drew straws on who was to carry the dynamite. Kate wins, but Jack fools her and takes the dynamite in his pack. It ends up saving her life.

Jack and Kate get caught in one of Rousseau’s traps. They're right up against each other until they fall to the ground. Jack holds Kate so she’s on top of him when they hit the ground. How sweet! |

Jack confronts Kate for leaving the Hatch. She tries to walk off, but he restrains her. Kate kisses him passionately. Of course, this freaks her out and she runs because that's what Kate does.

Jack halts Ben's surgery, gets Kate on the walkie talkie and tells her to run. She cries and insists that she can't leave without him but he yells the infamous "Damnit Kate, run!"

Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hurley get ambushed by the Others. Kate gets hit by a tranquilizer dart and falls. Jack shoots at the others and tries to no avail to carry Kate out.

After a visit with Hurley, Jack returns home and asks Kate if she thinks he's good with Aaron. She says he is. He says "Will you marry me?" She says "Of course I will. Yes!" |

Finally! Kate and Jack are living together. We get to see a make-out scene after Kate's shower and a bedroom scene! For JATERS, it was worth it to wait four years for this moment.

A drug-ridden Jack meets Kate at LAX. She looks amazing and he looks like an alcoholic mess. He tries to convince her to go back to the island. She walks away as he yells "We have to go back!"
