Thehansofoundation.org

The homepage of the websiteThehansofoundation.org is the official website of The Hanso Foundation. It was split into several sections, such as projects, Executive Bios, and "Joop's Corner". It played a central role in The Lost Experience, which is where most of the information was discovered. The site was down, and frequently hacked by Rachel Blake.

Many versions of the site was made. The first version was made in 2005, long before the Lost Experience started. It only a few features, such as the Swan Orientation film, and information on Joop and Alvar Hanso. However, most of the time, it said that access was denied. It was down March 2006, and was set to be remodeled in May.

The Hanso Foundation website shut downWhen it was relaunched, it included much more details and sections with plenty of content. Some secret pages were discovered, which were Easter Eggs. The site started experiencing difficulties, and had been hacked into several times by Rachel Blake. Eventually, on June 20th, 2006, the site closed. It was replaced by a black background, with the logo in red, and a message. It said: "The Hanso Foundation site has been hacked by malicious infiltrators seeking to blemish the good work of many dedicated researchers. Until a legal investigation is completed, the site will no longer be accessible to the public. Namaste."

Mittelwerk's secret messageThe site was eventually replaced with a letter from Alvar Hanso (which is now the current edition). In the letter, he says that he will try to recreate the Hanso Foundation, and will save humanity. However, clicking on the word "humanity", which is located at the end of the third paragraph reveals a hidden message. When the mouse is hovering over the word, a voice is heard, but is inaudible. Once clicked, there is a noise, and the site flashes. A bright screen is seen, with a face, which is Thomas Mittelwerk is seen. He says: "You've taken a battle, but that's all it was, a battle. Humanity needs me, now more than ever. I have the virus, I have the will, and I will not fail."
