Why do people call the survivors Losties????? I don't get it at all!!!!!!!!!!!! somebody PLEASE tell me

Lostpedia
There's definitely enough Lost information and enough fans to go around. This isn't an Us vs. Them type of thing. This site started out as a fan community and was just adopted by ABC. I think it's a great thing for the fans that ABC is in touch with how we want to interact.
Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but this shouldn't turn into a mudsling on either side. A lot of people are really great with the standard wiki codes and others can't quite get used to them. I know I'm in the second group, so an easy to use site like this is just the place for me. Other people might want something more content, rather than graphics driven (although, hopefully, everyone here can help us add original content), and that's what Lostpedia and Lost Wiki are there for. Every site has its place.

LOST reminds me of a familiar story, only it has a very strange twist...
Each character's story is told and everyone has a secret or "ghost" they're trying to hide from themselves and others about their past...
and so, the powers from within the island can
answer each of the character's personal "what if"? question's
through showing each of them...
1.) life ghosts of the present - happening now
2.) life ghosts of the past - happened then
3.) life ghosts of the future - will happen if not altered
4.) THE TWIST - life ghosts of the future - what can happen if they choose to alter their hidden secrets.

As we all know the island has powers of amazing healing ,among other things.
I think that the people who are on there are shown a life that is free of the life that they had on the outside. take sawyer ,for instance, we all know that he is a con artist as well as a killer. when he killed locke's father, that part of his life came back to him. Because ben had said that the island gives a person it's gift to him/her after they prove themseleves worthy of the island's powers, by doing something that they had always wanted to do, hence sawyer.I don't think that it is locke who is going to benefit from sawyer's work , but sawyer himself.That is what i figure in the last show wher kate & jack at the airport. maybe saywer turned to his past life after the island,because after he killed ben's father, you could see it in his eyes that somtihng had changed inside of him.The same way with jack. he had turned into his father ,drinking ,taking pills ,not be able to performs operations .the last show ,to me. was what life is after they had got resued from the island, maybe that is why they have to go back , to make eveything right and to have their lives back to normal for the future.Me and my hubby have been watching lost since the first show , it was on the week that we have been to begin dating. We love it , never miss a show!!! it is really nice to watch a program that doesn't have singers,dancers,dating and all of that other fun(stupid) stuff on it.when i watch lost i get transported to a place where i can let my imagination take over for an hour.I also like to say to all the other peolpe who disguarded lost because they could not follow the story line, get a grip. you all follw soap operas, the idol shows and all that junk, lost is truly a show, to us, that is a lot better than half the stuff on tv that we seem to gobble up. thanx -LostRules!!

If they moved the time slot up they would get better ratings in my opinion. Lost airs at 10 eastern time , and for people who get up early in the morning just can't stay up that late.

Lost Locations
I need to look a little more for the name of the tour service.They weren't one of the larger ones but were very economical & we had awesome guides both days.Unfortunately,we don't recall either tour guides' name.Sorry!We really should have made note of it.The best one as far as info about lost was a native.He had met his wife when she went on a tour.She's a blonde from the Mainland.That's really all I know.Lol!And she gets along with his first wife who he has children with.Lol!Our other tour guide was from New York.He had a major

So i woke up this morning and my first thought was Lost.
Its only 2 hours and 40 minutes away for me ...
I'm looking forward to reading thoughts that other have.

The Writers are Lost
A medium-lengthed memory makes me recall "Soap" from the '70's where the story just meandered from implausible episode to episode. I'm done with Lost at this point - there's no movement, the original cast story/back-story lines are glacial or dead. Another week with another 3.27 mysteries introduced is just a wast of time. There are too many questions with answers promised, yet unfulfilled for me. This is a money-making venture, and while advertisers are still willing to pay huge amounts of money for time in-program, and people will dive for the remote or TIVO control, why should the network/producers/writers do anything that might herald an end. Lost: Blah Blah Blah John Blah Blah Blah Jack Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah. Done paying your advertisers and salaries. Q.E.D.

LOST island
Are you kidding me? Of course the Bermuda Triangle exists because if it didn't then how in the heck would they shoot Lost? The question that boggles me is how have the people like Jack, Sawyer, Hurly, Kate, and Sawyer get back and forth to America to act in other movies and then come back to the island? I mean that contradicts what Ben said that 'when you leave the island you will not be able to return'. Unless they're all clones of the people in America (jack, kate, sawyer,etc.) and they found a way to make a cool documentary and submit they're documentary to ABC. ABC liked it and thought "WOW, this documentary is going to kick @$$ because it has black smoke that flies all around while making weird noises and killing people, an island that kills dieases and other terminal illneses that are deamed irreversable in the states, and other stuff". ABC knew that people would be like "Awe, that's awesome" and want to watch it. That would be cool if I could go to that island but then I wouldn't be able to watch the clones' upcoming broadcast in February nor would I be able to get back to America to work and go to college and other stuff.

in season 3 some of the losties ( who were in the tail section) will join with the others it seems like the others made a brainwash to them..
it's creepy and i don't know how the losties could turn against their planecrash mates and friends...why?
