The Plane Crash

Oceanic Airlines Flight 815 Breaks UpOn September 22, 2004, Oceanic Airlines Flight 815 crashed on a flight from Sydney to Los Angeles. The cause of the crash occurred when Desmond failed to push the button, resulting in a system failure. As he typed in the numbers, the entire station was shaking, under extreme stress from the electromagnetic field. Meanwhile, in the barracks, an earthquake struck. The earthquake was most likely caused by the system failure. As the The Trails of the WreckageOthers ran outside, they looked up to see the plane break up. The plane experienced heavy turbulence, and started to descend rapidly. The three main parts of the plane to separate were the cockpit, mid-section, and the tail-section. Each crashed in a different location of the island. There were 324 people on-board the plane. 48 survived in the mid-section, 22 in the tail-section, and only the pilot from the cockpit, making a total of 71 survivors. According to both Naomi and Anthony Cooper, the plane had crashed off the coast of Bali, with no survivors.
