Jacob's last words, "They're coming", in the Season 5 finale, "The incident" right after Ben killed him must be pretty important. Charles widmore said to multiple people such as Locke and Daniel that a war is coming which may connect to them coming ... but it may not. Maybe the war was when Kimi and his goons came to the island and killed Alex or maybe there is a war to come in the Season 6 .. Who knows?
In the famous question "What lies in the shadow of the statue?" Richard replies back in Latin saying "He who will save us all" maybe he is saying he who will save us from whoever is coming or from the war that Widmore keeps talking about maybe he who will save us is jack or locke or maybe even jacob because he was the one who said there coming and Richard had no clue they were going to kill him.

I think people have been misled a little bit.
Nobody has stated that Lapidus is THE candidate. Only that he is a possible candidate. I agree that they are looking for a vessel for Jacob, but I don't think it is Lapidus. Then who? Well it would have to be somebody very "special". Somebody that the Island is not finished with. Yes, Desmond of course. |

"They are coming" ... jack and his friends will start a war against Jacob's enemy and they goanna kill him in the End. Do you know the Island has no leader now? Because Locke's moved the rudder, so he changed the time and left the Island's with no leader he was banished just like Ben's situation. I also strongly believe someone from jack's team or all of them are going way way back in time and solve the problem from the beginning and when they fix it. No one is going to remember anything because is never happened.

First of all, I am sure Jacob knew that he was going to be killed. He was just surprised it was Ben that did it. The man playing Locke is Jacob's enemy, the black haired man wearing black clothing. That is why Jacob said to him, "So you finally found the loopwhole?" At one point Locke's eyes turned black, and he had black clothing under his white T-shirt. Who is coming? Jacob's enemies - the ones in dark clothing.
