People keep saying its anubis, but the god Thoth, although often depicted as an ibis, takes on the form of a baboon head or dog head and a human body. 'Baboon' is a symbol of evolution of the human experiment in time.Thoth is the master of time, mathematics, and astrology. He is also the author of the book of the dead. There was also a cult to Thoth that gained prominence during the late period of Egyptian history. He is responsible for keeping and maintaining silence, that younger ages of the cosmic time clock might seek them out. he also carries the ankh key to weigh the heart and symbolize truth in every age Do you find this valuable?

thats deep if im understanding it corectly so the black smoke is actualy thoth who is somesort of godi have a theory that the black smoke is just protecting somthing and it means no harm but if someone gets to close it lashes out Do you find this valuable? |

I believe the statue is Anubis, and if you see the ankh the statue is carrying, that is an egyptian symbol or character meaning 'Eternal Life'. Egyptian gods are often portrayed as carrying it. There was a brief show of the face and it was dog like. Interesting. As for the smoke, I think it's some type of magic mirror of sorts. It is a conscious being, who's purpose is to deal out justice. It can see into the heart of people. I don't know what it did to those guys that were shoved into the hole tho. Maybe they just went crazy from seeing what was in their hearts up close and personal? Hmmm...
