The Shape of Things to Come
I am so stoked that they are jumping time now instead of flashbacks and flash forwards. Stuff going on at the same time in two different times is effin' brilliant. It explains how polar bears ended up in the desert, if you're jumping from a specific portal on the island and it takes you to the desert (where Ben ended up) they could have been using polar bears as test subjects, since they are the smartest of the bear family.
Here are my thoughts let me know what you think:
Charles Whidmore is going to end up being the original captain of the black rock. If you remember the episode where he is bidding on the journal of Hanso, and no one has ever read it. If he is not the captain than he is someone closely related.
The black smoke is either, Jacob or Jacob's pet. Remember the black "gun powder/dust/ash" surrounding Jacob's cabin.
Jacob is Jack's Father. Christian Sheppard is connected to way too many people for him not to be a very important role.
Thoughts?
