Jacob looks like Mikhail

There is no way that Jacob is Locke! In the DVD commentary, they say that the close-up of the eye in Jacob's cabin IS JACOB! The eye is dark brown with bad skin. Locke's eyes are a light aqua color. The eye they show is also the person's left eye which is Mikhail's good eye (also very dark brown & he has bad skin). He is also balding & has a beard like Jacob. There is a point in an episode (I think after his station blows up) where Mikhail is laying/sitting on the ground & he sounds exactly like Jacob when he says "help me". The voice doesn't even sound close to Locke's or Jack's dad. I think there is a connection between them. I'd put money on the fact that I think Mikhail will return in season 4. He always turns up living when you think he should be dead : ) 7  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?

Great point as I am the first to point out how people who should be "dead" are constantly reappearing on this island. Not to forget that the only other "dead' person that we saw previously was Christian. That was on the shore when they first arrived. Mikhail was the second to come back.
I saw a close up of the "eye" in the cabin and it is NOT Locke his color and skin are not what appeared in the window.

Perhaps Jacob takes on the physical attributes of the alleged dead characters, because Jabob is the smoke? The smoke has contained the visions of others, if one recalls Ecko had seen many things in the face of the smoke.
