The Island and the end of the series
Feb 27 2008, 12:15 AM EST This is what I think about the island. First of all, I believe that we are all making it far to difficult. Just as Desmond returned to the island, so will everyone else. Something will take them back, to correct what they did wrong while they were there. The Flash forwards are giving us the clue that they will all eventually flash forward to the island. By that time, Ben will be gone because he can not heal his evil ways. Jacob will be there to welcome them back. (I still believe that Jacob is Alex's father and was one of the hostiles - I feel Jacob is Richard). Each person who has a horrible past will leave some how and then flash forward to be with the people who accept them for who they are, and they will be happy. Some will flash forward more than others -- like Desmond. The end will happen when the island explodes due to a valcano. (If you look at the map where "The Others" live, their little villiage is in a crater of a former volcano.) That will be the end, and everyone will either be gone, or meet again in more of a heavenly location. That is might thought now, it could change on Thursday night. It could change at the end of this season, but for now -- I am stickin' to it! Unless of course someone changes my mind. And to stay with the theme of "Aaron" he will be there too. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Feb 27 2008, 6:34 PM EST I think season !....not sure what show, maybe , "Solidary", however, it's the one where Danielle kidnaps Sayid...she said a "team of scientist " or explores came to the island and she was the only one who did not die from a strange illness.. ( maybe the gas Ben used ) I don't remember her saying she killed the baby's father....I have to watch the show again...I think she said he got very sick and then died....hope this helps.... 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Feb 28 2008, 2:46 AM EST The shipwreck was on the black rock. That is where Richard came from. Those who were on the ship that crashed are the hostiles, right? He was there long before The Others were, and he has never aged. Richard and Jacob have the same profile, and if Rousseau and Richard had Alex together it would be logical. She would have gotten pregnant prior to landing on the island. I found something else about Aaron - I think. I found this from another Lost site, but it came from UTube. She's only been ther for 16 years. They aren't the "Hostiles" and she is the only Black Rcok survivor. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

She says they get sick....but it's unclear what the illness is, and whether she's interpreting something else as an illness. Maybe it's an experiment the others are running on her people. Why does she survive the birth of Alex on the island when Juliet says that they had to give Claire the special serum to keep her well through her pregnancy and then again when she gets sick afterward? Is it just more manipulation and mind control? Do you find this valuable? |

Mar 3 2008, 8:25 AM EST Rousseau was not from the Black Rock, it is in fact likely that Richard is (some theories suggest that he was originally a pirate on that ship and his 'miracle' endowed by the Island is to not age). It's quite possible that ALL the hostiles are in fact those survivors. Ben joined them and purged the Dharma members and has recruited new people subsequently, including Juliette etc. Rousseau and her colleagues were on a different wreck that went down at sea just off the coast of the Island and was possibly caused by the field/storm which is consistently found if you head off at the wrong bearings. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Is it just more manipulation and mind control?"Well, I believe that Rousseau said that she had alex 2 weeks after they got there, so it would be the same reason that Claire did not die, she got pregnant OFF the island. Do you find this valuable? |
