I seem to recall that the DS actually meant something to Charlies family but can't recall for sure. I'll view some of the previous episodes to try to find out. It would be cool if it didn't have a family meaning however and came into their family by chance having originally meant Dharma Station..lol

The DS ring stand for drive shaft of course. It's charlie's band!! and sun finds the ring and understands that charlie left it for aaron so if she ever gets off the island, she will probabaly give it to him

The initials DS on the ring stand for Charlie and Liam's great-grandfather, Dexter Stratton. They named the band Drive Shaft to have the same initials as the ring.
