We've learned some more about Richard this season. We have learned that he is an advisor to the leader of the Others. We always sort of knew he carried communications back and forth between Jacob and the leader. We also now know that the reason Richard doesn't age is because Jacob made it that way. We still don't officially know where Richard came from in the first place however. I'm thinking Richard came from Black Rock, the ship we see in the first scene of the finale. Also now that Jacob is dead (I'm assuming he is dead at this point at least) does that mean Richard will start to age? Do you find this valuable?

I have to say im not sure about richard aging or not althought that would be a good twist....however i do agree that richard comes from the black rock ship that you see in the first scene, i also think that jacob knew at some point (dont ask me how tho!) that his 'rival' would kill him, so when the black rock landed jacob and richard became friends and jacob took him under his wing lets say and jacob told richard of the plan his rival had to kill him and everything about the island thus making richard not age, also jacob gave richard a backup plan an gave him instructions to follow incase the day ever came that jacob was killed. It would also explain why richard hasnt said anything about knowing the others 30years before, and why he took john to see jacob without many questions. Do you find this valuable?

I completely agree, but I think the bigger question is who is "John Locke" as it pertain's to person who tells Ben to kill Jacob.

I still do not think Richard should be forgotten, Richard may be the one to provide us the answer to this bigger question.

I think the one pretending to be Locke is that guy on the beach with Jacob, kind of his nemesis I guess. We don't really know the whole story about Jacob so therefore, we still don't know what's the deal with Jacob and that guy. What we do know is that guy wants to kill Jacob. As for why?hmm...maybe they are fighting over who will rule on that island. Just my crazy theory... Do you find this valuable?

The man who was on the beach with Jacob at the beginning of the episode was the same person as the fake Locke. Remember he said that one day he will find a "loophole" as a way to kill him. I do not know how this is possible though. Do you find this valuable?
