Hurley's bird?
Feb 7 2010, 11:00 PM EST
What's the deal with Hurley's bird? Remember? When Michael was leading them to the Others I think it was, a bird flew over their heads screaming "Hurley!" then it dsappears, then Hurley's all like "Did that bird just say me name?" And the Sawyer says, "Yeah, right after it crapped gold!" Hahahaha, good ol' Sawyer... Anyway, just thought I'd mention this, see if anybody got any theories? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

1. RE: Hurley's bird?
Mar 21 2010, 11:16 PM EDT
The bird is the embodiment of the god Horus. His true physical appearance was said to be that of a green falcon. If you look at the top of Jacobs tapestry, there is a clear symbol of what appears to be a birds wingspan, with the eye of Horus at it's center....Another interesting bit of info is the character of Horace Goodspeed, and his name. He was a laid back character, much like Hurley, and may have also been one of Jacobs followers.
